A presentation at NERDSummit by Michael Miles
Our lives are structured by the data we resource and how well we can understand it. From keeping track of books we all want to read, managing our finances, to planning team allocations for our projects. For all this there has been a long standing tool to help us manage and sort our data… spreadsheets.
In this session attendees will learn how to utilize spreadsheets (specifically Google Sheets) to almost magically organize, tabulate, process and analyze data for problems small and large.
Attendees will walk away understanding how to approach structuring data for a spreadsheet, how to use basic functions to transform/analyze data, manipulate data with complex features and format data for easy review.
The following resources were mentioned during the presentation or are useful additional information.
This presentation was built completely in a Google sheets spreadsheet.
